betty is an independent television production company making award-winning factual entertainment and features formats, documentaries and drama since 2001. betty is known for turning modern life into high quality, accessible and stylish programming, from Country House Rescue, to Freaky Eaters and Spendaholics, from Wedding House to Promzillas, Find Me A Family, and The Big Food Fight, amongst many others. betty produces high-end programmes for Channel 4, BBC1, BBC2 and BBC3, iTV, and Sky1 HD.

Brown Eyed Boy opened its doors on May 27th 2002. The company was set up by maverick producer Gary Reich after he left the BBC and Chrysalis Entertainment where he had been a comedy executive for a number of years. Their mission statement is to find, nurture and develop new writer/performers, chiefly in the field of comedy, and to write and pitch innovative scripted and entertainment formats in which to place that talent. They are committed to scouring national comedy venues and drama schools,  their development researcher sees over 150 shows at The Edinburgh Festival every year, and to mounting their own live talent showcases twice a year. These are usually performed in front of an invited audience of commissioning editors and friends. They have also produced and directed a number of live shows, including the 2005 Perrier winning "Laura Solon" and "nobleandsilver"'s sell out season at The Soho Theatre in London. BEB are just as interested in finding off-screen talent and have given many researchers, producers and directors their first break in television. They consequently encourage and actively seek out showreels from new filmmakers. BEB also encourage and actively seek out all the under-represented, under-rated, marginalised, outcasts who believe they have something huge and special to give.
In addition BEB are committed to finding new, surprising and often funny ways of making documentary and factual entertainment. Most of all they encourage, admire and try adhere to the principles of relentless optimism, gay abandonment and inexhaustible humour. BEB reject anything designed to provoke, engineer or spread fear. They believe everything is actually already perfect.

Cicada Films has been producing quality documentaries since 1984. It has several areas of specialisation: science, history and archaeology, social documentaries, people and animal films and blue-chip natural history.

Cicada has made over 50 programmes for a variety of Broadcasters and the Producer, Frances Berrigan, has worked with some of the best directors and cameramen in the field producing stunning pictures to illustrate fascinating stories.

Many of Cicada's Films have won awards, at ceremonies as prestigious as the BAFTAs, New York, Wildscreen, Jackson Hole and the Japanese Wildlife Film Festival.

Flame TV was founded in 1999...... 
Flame specialises in producing high quality popular formats in challenging subject areas. Their output also covers a diverse range of documentary programming and they are continuing a successful expansion into factual entertainment and daytime. Flame are developing partnerships with international production companies and broadcasters and are successfully selling their formats around the world.

One of the new guards of leading British Indies, Formosa Films pursues the spirit of challenging, in-your-face filmmaking pioneered by the likes of British legends Alan Clarke and Nic Roeg, US auteurs such as Kubrick and Scorsese and the masters of the cinematic art such as Sirk, Hitchcock and Welles.

CLUBBED, the debut feature from Director Neil Thompson was the first project to go in front of the lens. Based on the best selling book by BAFTA winning writer Geoff Thompson, CLUBBED was sold internationally by prestigious sales agent, AV Pictures and released in UK and French cinemas in January 2009. It is available on DVD from May 4th 2009.

Many Rivers Films is an independent television production company, based in south London.We have produced prime-time documentaries for Channel Four, the Discovery Channel and BBC’s Newsnight including the award winning Cult of the Suicide Bomber and the headline-grabbing Dispatches about the Northern Bank robbery, The Big Heist.

Many Rivers Films was founded by Kevin Toolis. He is an acknowledged terrorism expert and has studied and reported on conflicts in Africa, Ireland and the Middle East.

Cult of the Suicide Bomber was nominated for both an Emmy and the prestigious British documentary Grierson award.

Objective Productions has rapidly become one of Britain’s most influential independent production companies. Responsible for producing ground-breaking productions for a range of television broadcasters including Channel 4, The BBC, MTV, Five, E4, More 4 and ITV. Objective have also presented spectacular live theatre performances including  illusionist and magician Derren Brown’s Laurence Olivier Award-winning British theatre tours. The company is moving beyond its core expertise in comedy, entertainment and magic to now encompass factual, documentary and current affairs projects, all of which are produced with the same flair and commitment to excellence we bring to all our output.

Parallel Film and Television Productions is a fairly new production company specialising in drama. The drama series 'Kingdom' is currently broadcasting on ITV.

Pinky & Perky Enterprises was set up in 2005 as a rights holding company specifically to exploit the underlying rights in the characters Pinky & Perky in all media, worldwide. The series was produced by Picture Production Company and Lupus Films Limited in the UK.

Red Planet Pictures is a new independent production company set up by the award winning script writer and creator, Tony Jordan. With its forthcoming continuing drama, Holby Blue, due to broadcast on BBC 1 in Spring, there will be many more new dramas in the pipeline.

Reef Television is a young production company committed to making high quality, distinctive and innovative programmes in a range of genres, with a particular focus on factual entertainment, features and arts.

In addition to making broadcaster commissioned programmes, Reef is pioneering alternative means of funding production including AFP and sponsorship.

Reef are based in the heart of Covent Garden in London’s West End.

Roughcut Television is one of the fastest growing independent television production companies in the UK. Specialising in scripted comedy and entertainment Roughcut has produced shows for all of the UK’s major broadcasters, Channel 4, BBC Three, Sky and ITV1.

Established in 2007 by Ash Atalla, best known for producing the multi award winning series’ The Office and The IT Crowd, as well as executive producing Look Around You and Bo Selecta, Roughcut Television continues Ash’s tradition of creating excellent comedy and comedy drama.

Currently in production with a major new prime time comedy entertainment show for ITV1, Roughcut has recently enjoyed record-breaking success with the new supermarket based sitcom Trollied (Sky 1), which debuted with two million viewers - the highest rating multi-channel comedy launch in British television history.
