Emerging singer, songwriter and composer ELDR has just shared her spellbinding new single Spinning Tops, a memorable Dream Pop song about the fragility each of us carry. 

Speaking about the new release, ELDR said,

After experiencing a very destructive relationship, I became aware of my own psychological numbness and complicity, as a means of survival. Spinning Tops is a love song to anyone in a similar situation. It’s about the fragility each of us quietly carries, and the need to rise above self-destructive tendencies. Fundamentally, it’s a call to realise your power.

I am hypnotised by ELDR's distinctive and captivating voice which soars beautifully over the warm production. I am particularly fond of the guitar plucks throughout the song and how they are nicely paired with warm atmospherics and steady percussion that enhance the song's dreamy atmosphere. Spinning Tops is a song about coming out of a toxic relationship and trying to rise above self-destructive thoughts and behaviours.
