With the situation in Iraq rapidly deteriorating, the British Army face the unenviable task of keeping the peace in an already volatile region. But that fragile peace is shattered when a roadside bomb kills a popular company captain, leaving the platoon’s morale at its lowest ever. Acting on orders, two young recruits round up suspects from a house-to-house search and take out their frustrations on the detainees. Emotions run high and the soldiers’ frustration turns to sadism as they exact all manner of physical and psychological abuse on the prisoners, pausing only to take photographs.
