'Welsh folk musician Ali Lacey (AKA Novo Amor) and Brighton-based electronic artist Ed Tullett teamed up in 2014 for the hypnotic “Faux”, a single that recently surpassed two million plays on Spotify. Breathtaking new track “Alps” showcases further evolution of the musicians’ skilled and potent blend of talents. “Alps” is set into motion by gently chiming guitar work, delicate piano, and a pervasive, reverberating warmth. Lyrically about wanting to revisit a past love, but knowing you’d be completely self-destructive if you did so. The track as a whole aims to conjour a sense of intensity, beauty and nostalgia.
