The Amazing Mrs Pritchard is a television programme produced by Kudos for BBC One. It was written by Sally Wainwright and stars Jane Horrocks in the title role of a woman with no previous political experience who becomes Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. It ran in the UK for six episodes from 3 October 2006 to 7 November 2006. In the US, the series is being run on PBS in the November-October 2007 editions of Masterpiece Theatre.
