Siôn Russell Jones is a singer/songwriter from Cardiff, Wales. He has a unique and infectious vocal backed up by intricate guitar melodies and cracking choruses. Since the release of his debut album ‘And Suddenly’, Siôn has had an exciting few years securing an endorsement deal with Stonebridge Guitars and a publishing deal with BDi Music. Sion’s tracks ‘So Long’ and ‘Best of Me’ from his album ‘Lost No More’ received airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Wales, SRF 3 in Switzerland and RTL in Paris. Siôn’s music has also been used on several British television programmes including Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Casualty, Eastenders ‚Stella and upcoming Channel 4 drama, No Offence. In the past two years Siôn has gigged extensively, including showcases at SXSW Music Festival in Texas, Canadian Music Week Toronto and at Rockwood Music Hall New York. Festivals include Liverpool Sound City, Hop Farm Festival, BEAT12 Sweden, Breaking Out Festival, The Station Sessions, Croissant Neuf, Swn Festival, Greenman, The Great Escape and the Acoustic Festival of Britain. Siôn has supported Hanson, Newton Faulkner, Mara Carlyle, Jake Morley, Orla Gartland, Heather Nova, Thomas Leeb, Nerina Pallot and Moddi. Recent performances include touring Germany and Tokyo, Japan where his album ‘Lost No More’ is licensed by This Time Records — recent festivals include How The Lights Get In, Splash and The Hay Festival. Sion will release his fourth EP Something on My Side (produced by Erland Cooper) on June 27 following a short UK tour. In the summer, Sion will start work on his next album with producer Mason Neely.
