From fronting The Magic Gang, Jack Kaye today releases his debut solo single 'Dora' - out now on Fascination Street Records. After stepping away from music on a path of rediscovery, he returns with a body of work that signals the start of a bold and exciting new chapter. On the new single, Dora, Jack Kaye says - "I had writer’s block for a long time after the band broke up. Wheels were spinning; I was trying to figure out what I was even doing musically. So I decided to take myself out of my own head. I started to write this song, loosely based on a friend’s relationship. Once I got into that storytelling mindset, it became fun again and everything flowed." Take a listen below with the official video directed by Josh Cray, or which Jack comments "We shot the video at a boxing gym I used to go to when I was a kid. My friend Josh, who I’ve known since we were 11, directed it. We bought a bubble machine, got our mate’s Dad to play the trainer and had at it. It was the most fun I’ve had in ages and a relief after taking things so seriously for so long."
