Ben Lythe is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer and vocalist based in London. With an incredibly versatile sound, Ben always prioritizes the artists vision which has been key to building many longstanding writing relationships.
His productions and co-writes have amassed millions of streams, including recent singles for Aine Deane (The One Before The One), CATTY (Deep End, Maybe All The Rumours Are True, I Dont Miss You, I Just Miss Your Mum) Hanniou (Terrified) and most recently co-writing Grace Davies’ ‘Illuminate’ The Official Song of the European Athletics Championships 2024.
Ben’s releases have featured on Spotify’s editorial playlists including; New Music Friday UK, New Pop UK, Fresh Finds Pop, SALT and EASY as well as frequent plays on BBC Radio 1 and Mollie King’s Future Pop.
Ben is currently working alongside two- time Swedish Grammy nominated artist Augustine and other recent collaborators include, Josie Man, JERUB, ili, Kat Penkin, Beth McCarthy, Maya Lane, Josie Oliver and Janet Devlin. He has also provided topline/songwriting support for accomplished producers such as, Jake Gosling, Paul Whalley and Arcades.
After spending time as a touring/session musician, Ben is currently playing guitar and piano for several artists including Grace Davies and CATTY.
As well as writing/producing for artists, Ben’s vocals have featured on various dance tracks, most notably Justin Mylo’s single “I Remember” (which was co-written by Ben and released on STMPD Records)
